This projector, when used in conjunction with the JBL 5.1 surround sound system, makes any video or movie feel like you are at a movie theatre.

The NCCC main stage theatre also just upgraded to a full HD Christie 1080p projector. This experience will help them move into a baccalaureate theatre program or into the workforce. NCCC students receive hands-on training and experience on all of this state-of-the-art equipment. Having knowledge of these software programs will help the NCCC student excel in their next venture. This new digital console paired with a set of AKG wireless mics, and the lighting equipment listed above, has made the NCCC main stage theatre one of the best-equipped theatres in Western NY.ДЄs an NCCC Theatre Arts student, youвЂ™ll also be exposed to various computer programs used by professionals in the entertainment industry, including: WYSIWYG visualization software, Vectorworks design software used by lighting and scenic designers, Lightwright 5 lighting paperwork software, and lastly Isadora, one of the leading video software programs. The new sound console installed in the space was the fully digital Soundcraft SI3. In 2010 the NCCC main stage theatre replaced their old, out-of-date sound system with a new JBL sound system. Other lighting control equipment includes, ETC Obsession II, ETC Express 48/96, and High Ends Whole Hog 3 lighting console.

LIGHTWRIGHT STUDENT INSTALL

The ETC EOS Ti is their newest lighting control board and NCCC was one of the first theatres to permanently install this new technology. We also feature Electronic Theatre Control instruments, dimmers, and lighting control systems. Students in the Theatre Arts program will gain experience working with each of these instruments. These instruments complement our full spectrum of lighting instruments including, LED CYC strip lights, moving head intelligent lighting instruments, moving mirror intelligent lighting instruments and a large inventory of conventional lighting instruments. These instruments are the newest technology available in todayвЂ™s market. In recent years NCCC has invested in new state-of-the-art LED ellipsoidal lighting instruments. NCCC also offers a black box lab theatre, a fully equipped scenic shop, and two spacious dressing room facilities.

NCCCвЂ™s main stage is housed in a 700 seat auditorium with state-of-the-art, computerized lighting equipment. The NCCC Theatre Department is located in the F-Building on the CollegeвЂ™s Sanborn Campus.
